SIX HOTEL ZONES

$26 to $60 by zone

Official airport taxi fares for every Aruba hotel, one to four passengers

Aruba's airport taxi fares are set by the government, by zone, not by hotel: two resorts in the same zone pay the same fare. This page lists every hotel by zone, straight from the same data our other pages use, so it can never disagree with them.

Find your hotel below to see its zone and its official one-to-four-passenger airport taxi fare, from the official taxi fares published 18 May 2026, checked 2 November 2026.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • Aruba has six official taxi-fare zones, from $26 (Oranjestad) to $60 (Baby Beach).
  • Two hotels in the same zone always pay the same airport taxi fare.
  • Each extra passenger or luggage piece adds $3, and a $5 surcharge applies on Sundays, holidays and 11 PM to 7 AM.
  • The Aruba Taxi App's own FAQ lists a $10 airport surcharge; taxi.aw's price list shows none.
  • A private transfer with Dushi Transfers gives one fixed price for any zone, agreed before you fly.

QUICK ANSWER

Aruba's airport taxi fares are set by zone, not by hotel: find your resort below to see its zone and the official one-to-four-passenger fare from the airport. Fares range from $26 (Oranjestad) to $60 (Baby Beach), and a private transfer with Dushi Transfers gives one fixed price instead.

How Aruba's hotel zones work

The government prices by zone, not by hotel, so two hotels in the same zone pay the same airport taxi fare.

Taxi fares in Aruba are fixed by the government and published at taxi.aw. The official taxi fares were published 18 May 2026 and checked 2 November 2026. Every hotel on the island falls into one of six zones, and the fare below covers one to four passengers, one taxi, one way, before any surcharge. What adds to the fare

Every fare above is the base. A few things can move it, the same rules in every zone.

  • Extra passengers Each fare covers one to four people. Each extra passenger adds $3, up to a legal maximum of seven per taxi.

  • Extra luggage One piece of luggage and one backpack or handbag per passenger is included. Each additional piece is $3.

  • Night and Sunday surcharge A $5 surcharge applies once per trip on Sundays, official holidays, every day from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and from December 24 through January 1.

  • Minimum fare $10, even for a very short hop.

The Aruba Taxi App's own FAQ also lists a $10 airport surcharge on rides from the airport; taxi.aw's price list does not show one, so confirm the total with your driver or in the app. Price your own group and luggage with the fare lookup in our Aruba taxi rates guide.

Taxi, shuttle, bus or private transfer

Whichever zone your hotel is in, you have the same four ways out of the airport.

A licensed taxi at the fare above suits one to four people. The Arubus bus is $2.60 a trip but takes carry-on luggage only. A shared airport shuttle stops at other hotels before yours. A private transfer with Dushi Transfers gives one fixed, all-in price agreed before you fly, with a driver who tracks your flight and meets you with a name sign. Compare all four on our Aruba airport transportation page, or see our private airport transfer for what is included. Wondering about ride apps? There is no Uber in Aruba, and here are your options. Frequently asked questions

How much is a taxi from Aruba airport to my hotel?

It depends on your hotel's zone. Fares range from $26 (Oranjestad) to $60 (Baby Beach) for one to four passengers, one way. Find your hotel in the table above for its exact zone and fare.

What zone is my hotel in?

Aruba's airport fares group every hotel into one of six zones: Oranjestad, Low-Rise, Eagle Beach, High-Rise South, High-Rise North, and Baby Beach. Find your hotel by name in the tables above.

Is there a fixed taxi fare in Aruba?

Yes. Fares are set by the government and published at taxi.aw, so the price to your hotel is the same whichever licensed taxi you take.

How much extra for a group or luggage?

Each extra passenger past four is $3 (seven maximum per taxi), and each extra piece of luggage past one per passenger is $3.

What's the difference between a taxi, a shuttle and airport transportation in Aruba?

A taxi is a licensed TX-plate vehicle at the government fare. A shared shuttle stops at other hotels before yours. Aruba airport transportation, our comparison page, covers both plus the bus and a private transfer in one table.

Is there Uber in Aruba?

No. Uber and Lyft do not operate in Aruba. Only vehicles with a TX license plate may provide taxi service.

Does Dushi Transfers serve every hotel zone?

Yes. We do airport pickups and drop-offs across the island, to any zone, with one fixed quote agreed before you fly.
